My Approach - Art Is Life
I'm very much a believer in just painting what you love, and not to be defined in a narrow category of art or style. I enjoy great variety in life and it's reflected in my art - I paint animals, landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, florals, etc. I try to learn something new with every painting and I hope that shows in my artwork.
Above all, you must paint what you're passionate about. Otherwise what's the point?
Biography
I've been painting since I was a teenager, starting with oils painting mountain landscapes. I've since broadened my subject matter and technique considerably, and enjoy new challenges and new media to experiment with in my artwork.
I have participated in various artist cooperatives and shows in Florida, and have recently moved to New Mexico where I continue to paint in my new studio.
